A friend told me about Hong Kong based Lilliput Tales, a cute company that shares office-space with her. They make little stories in jars surrounded by mini-ecosystems of moss. Every jar contains it’s own unique individual storyline inside, featuring little people that mimic the world around us. I love the idea behind Lilliput Tales: time is precious and the normalities of today usually become the treasured memories of tomorrow. A living decorative with a message!
The Lilliput Tales made me think of the work of street-artist Slinkachu and his guerilla project ‘Little people’. He is abandoning little people in the street since 2006. Lilliput Tales is doing the exact opposite;-).
