Designs in Red and Green

christmas fun fair

It’s that time of the year again that graphic designers mostly work with red and green. Although I normally don’t fancy that color-combination, for Christmas print-work I wholeheartedly make an exception;-).

Remember this post where I gave you a printable wrappingpaper-freebie for the holidays? The design was inspired by the flyer/banner that I made for this lovely Fair Trade Christmas fun fair coming up. All you Hongkies, write this one in your diary: Fair Trade Christmas shopping, 1st of December on the patio of Union Church, 22 Kennedy Road.

Christmas Fair Trade

Christmas is in the air! It’s one of my favorite seasons with lots of festive moments to look forward to. Among those moments is the Fair Trade Fun Fair that’s going to be held in Union Church (Kennedy Road 22, Hong Kong, 9th of December). They will sell lots of unique products from Mongolia, Nepal etc. and support the local communities out there at the same time. I did the flyer en poster design for the event. The sparkling stars represent little glimmers of joy, warmth and sincere attention in a grey and indifferent world.
