Papercup: Bookshop Stationary

2013 0530 bookmark

‘Let us read and let us dance, these to amusements will never do any harm to the world’ This quote is on one of the new series of bookmarks I made for the bookshop (where I work every Thursday;-)).

The bookmarks have quotes on them of famous writers about reading. As of today you can purchase them in the Mui Wo bookshop on Lantau Island. Truly a wonderful place to go to, if you’re a book-lover, that is. I will put them in the Papercup webshop next week too;-). (Pre-order a set of 5 for HKD35/ E3.50 to hand out to your bookclub-friends;-))

Free Printable: Tea Bag Labels with Quotes

teabags

Last week I was putting together a nice little gift for one of my fellow, book-loving friends. I made five different tea bag-labels with quotes from famous authors about the joy of drinking tea (with or without company;-)). I used a needle to attach the labels to some lovely smelling herb-tea bags. Guess what… she really liked it, so I decided to make it into a free printable for you guys too;-)!

Maybe you can print the labels for a Mothersday gift or use the tea bags as a nice little feature during a book-club meeting or just have them to inspire yourself;-). You can download the template here.’Come let us have some tea and talk about happy things’ (Chaim Potok).

P.S. Please note that you can use the labels only for non-commercial purposes;-)

Printable Wrapping Paper

Recently I heard a great quote at a video talk of Tina Roth (swiss-miss.com, inspriring blog!) that made me think: ‘The best way to complain is to make something’.

Just a day before that, I was actually complaining about a thing as trivial as wrapping paper. I’ve not yet found a place in Hong Kong where you can buy nice patterned, cheap wrapping material. But this quote made me do something about it;-). I made this printable wrapping paper in 15 minutes and the perky teapots made me happy at the same time! An attitude changed for the better.

If you like perky teapots;-), you can download the wrapping paper here for free. A little gift for the holidays from my studio (only for personal, non-commercial use).
